History in the glass

We found inspiration in international influence on traditional American cuisine so we tend to bring to the table flavors of an old and new world. Our special dedication was towards the selection of our wines and we are very proud of our vine list that has more than 150 different bottles and offers more than 30 wines by the glass. To better understand the influence of imported grape species that forged Napa Valley wines our team with our knowledgeable and experienced sommelier traveled abroad to visit the home of those sorts.
Our journey began in Croatia, which gave some of the best wines in the world. Grgich Hills Estate is well known and their origins are from the Peljesac peninsula in southern Croatia, their best wines are Posip (white wine) and Plavac mali (red wine). Croatia is known for having more than a thousand islands, so we combined business and pleasure by doing a day trip where we visited world-known Hvar island and Plenkovic winery on our Blue Cave and 5 islands tour organized by Zen Travel Croatia where we witnessed the magnificent beauty of the central Dalmatian archipelago. Surrounded by the magnificent Alps, we visited one of Italy’s finest wine regions Piedmont where we enjoyed exploring the secrets of the Nebbiolo wine. The next stop was France, where we visited charming little town Saint-Emilion in Bordeaux region, Champagne, Burgundy, and Rhone Valley where they make one of the best Syrah. Our last stop was in Portugal where we visited the Douro Valley where they make sweet red wines. Tracing the origin of the wines that we offer was an amazing experience and the opportunity to better understand the flavors and textures of the wine and how to pair it with our dishes.

French influence:
Starting with appetizers we have delicious French onion soup served with croutons and melted cheese on top. For those who like to be careful about calorie input, we have Nicoise salad with the freshest tuna on the market, which you can substitute with a salmon if you like. The signature main course is Boeuf Bourguignon, a stew made of beef braised in the red wine, beef broth and seasoned with garlic, onions, mushrooms, and fresh herbs.
Italian influence:
Speaking of Italy, for a starter, we have nice plater for two with finest Italian prosciutto, carbonara prepared on traditional Italian recipe, ravioli stuffed with fresh ricotta cheese, Cacio e Pepe pasta that literally means cheese and pepper, and traditional Caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella and freshest tomatoes from local farms. Our signature Italian main dish is Osso Buco, a specialty that comes from Lombard cuisine and it’s a veal shank braised with vegetables in a white wine broth. We did not forget about everyone’s favorite Italian food-pizza! We have a large variety of Neapolitan style pizza pies. Why the Neapolitan style? Neapolitan style pizza highlights the freshness of the ingredients that we use in our restaurant. It is a simple, high-quality flower, fresh tomato sauce, and mozzarella cheese. There are no shortcuts or tricks with Neapolitan pizza and the only way to make it good is to use high-quality ingredients. The crust of the Neapolitan pizza is thin and soft, it has a lot of sauce so the middle is a bit wet and soggy. It is baked in high temperature so it takes only minutes to prepare it, the crust bubbles up and the pie is charred in spots. Since the dough is made only with flour, water, yeast, and salt this is a light bite.
Mexican influence:
Everybody loves tacos so do we! We offer the best fish, meat, and pulled pork tacos with homemade tortillas. The list continues with enchiladas, guacamole, chicken fajita and pozole, a traditional Mexican soup.
